If you have no QoS policy defined, guess what? Configuring reservable bandwidth is pointless! The system does NOT restrict you to 20% of available bandwidth. What birth defect does a person need to have to believe otherwise? My goodness I hate when people just make shit up.

    1. Dave says

How fucking dense are you? Read the fucking description that Microsoft put there.

“If you do not configure it the system uses the default value of 80% of the connection.

You’re not gaining 80% by doing this setting, pretty sure the os only saves 20% of the connection, but please don’t speak if you can’t even read.

  18. HY says

btw you guys can try control panel> network and internet >network and sharing center> change adapter setting > right click your adapter >properties > try to untick QOS > ok

  19. Twinkle says

You can try Long Path Tool, it will definitely help you a lot.

  20. its3m3 says

I would not recommend to restrict the bandwidth to 0% since this will stop future windows updates. Your bandwidth is not restricted all the time, this just means windows will use up to 80% of your internet connection IF it has to download an update or so.
