Micromax Launched Yu Yureka with CyanogenMod11 and 4G


Micromax has announced its first Yu Smartphone brand in India. The first Smartphone of the Yu brand is named as Yuraka, which runs on CyanogenMod 11, based on Android Kitkat 4.4.4. Micromax has guaranteed that Yureka will be one of the first mobile phones to get the Android Lollipop OS centered edition of Cyanogen.

With Yureka, Micromax wants to provide a different taste for its users. The Cyanogen OS is famous for its customization and Security, which you’ll not get in Official Android versions. Let’s know its specifications.

The 5.5-inch HD IPS display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Which can protect you from scratches and accidental damages. The Rear camera comes with Sony Xmor sensor, and features like time-lapse mode, and support for slow motion video recording at 60fps.

Yuraka is fueled with a 64-Bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor with a speed of 1.5 Ghz. There is a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory in it. You can expand its storage capacity by inserting a Micro-SD card up to 32 GB.

The dual-SIM Smartphone supports LTE and comes with a 2,500mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to survive up to seven hours on LTE, 8 hours of talking and up to 210 hours on standby mode.

The Yureka is exclusively available only on Amazon from 19th December 2 PM for registration and will go on sale in the second week of January 2015. It only comes in Moonstone color and priced at Rs. 8999.
